A part of the RHD for Schools campaign, the Recycle for Schools program is a phone directory recycling drive that combines two great causes - helping the environment and supporting local teachers. Through this community program, parents and students can easily nominate local teachers to participate in the drive by visiting www.rhdforschools.com. Two teachers are randomly selected as finalists to host directory recycling drives at either their respective schools or nearby locations during the month that the new AT&T Real Yellow Pages directories distribute. As a reward for collection efforts, R.H. Donnelley, publisher of AT&T Real Yellow Pageswill donate a $3,500 grant to the teacher whose school collects the most directories. The runner-up teacher will receive a $1,500 grant. The grants may be used by the teachers for supplies, classroom technology or to continue their education. For more information and news regarding upcoming Recycle for Schools events, visit www.rhdforschools.com or contact Janell Lee, Manager of Communications/Marketing, 919-297-1148.
